Arab Pop Star Haifa Wehbe was born on 10th March 1976 in Mahrouna, South Lebanon. At her child age she was interested with jazz, R&B. She became Model at young age and won the title “Ms Lebanon” at her sixteenth age.

Dazzling beauty from Lebanon. Haifa has been able to capture the lime light through her stunning charm, captivating presence, eye-catching elegance and fascinating allure. This sultry charm has been her passport to the world of fame, fashion and music.At the age of 16, Haifa won a beauty contest in South Lebanon, and in 1995, took part in the Miss Lebanon competition where she won the title of “Most beautiful young woman in Lebanon”.

Haifa took her new career very seriously and was extremely selective and meticulous in her choice of the album’s lyrics and music and her choice of producers and arrangers.
Singing is her main hobby, along with painting. She adores the sea, sun and nature in general. She also likes writing, drawing her inspiration from day to day life, whether private or public, happy or sad.

Every time Ms Haifa Wehbe visits Morocco there is some sort of “incident” and one has to wonder if they are not part of a very sophisticated campaign to keep her name and image in the headlines. On a previous visit Haifa declared she would never visit Morocco again. (Here’s a tip, never say “never” Haifa)

On this occasion Haifa had a couple of headlines: One, in the Watan newspaper, claims that the hard working police authorities had to intervene when a car began chasing Haifa Wehbe en route to the airport. The police stopped the car and discovered it was packed with with fans. Luckily the police could fully understand the young mens’ motivation and while no charges were laid, they held the car until the singer was safely out of the area.

At one of her concerts her security men slipped up and Haifa was startled to find herself confronted with a group of young men screaming and begging her to let them in to the concert for free because they were out of work and didn’t have two dirhams to rub together. Now say what you like about Ms Wehbe’s dress sense, or even her singing abilitiies – she does have a very big heart. To the young men’s delirious delight, Haifa said yes and presented them all with tickets to let them enter and watch for free. (All together now; “aw… shucks”) It is the stuff of young boys’ dreams.
